Uniform

At Withington Primary School we take pride in our uniform and value the sense of equality, unity and belonging that it brings to our community. Please refer to the information on this page when purchasing uniform for September.

Uniform List -

  • Black or grey trousers or shorts 
  • Grey skirt/pinafore dress
  • Withington Primary White polo shirt
  • Withington Primary red cardigan or sweatshirt
  • Black, white or grey socks
  • Tights – red, black or grey
  • Black shoes (closed toe, 1 inch heel maximum)

PE Kit -

  • Withington Primary red and black PE shorts
  • Withington Primary red and black PE skort
  • Withington Primary red PE tshirt
  • Withington Primary PE hoodie (optional)

Please note the following:-

  • Fleeces are for outdoor wear only. They will not be accepted as indoor wear instead of a cardigan, jumper or sweatshirt.
  • Top button to be done up on polo shirts.
  • Headbands, slides and pony tail bands should be in the school colour red or black. Decorative hair accessories are unsuitable for school wear.
  • Trousers are to be smart, tailored, plain trousers of waist height and ankle length. No jeans, denims, chinos, cords, combats, hipsters, skinny fit, recent fashion trend or other casual trouser. No trousers with accessories including leg pockets, zips etc.
  • Please ensure that all uniform and PE kit is clearly named including coats/jackets etc.
  • School shoes should be traditional shoes not trainer style shoes. Open toe shoes/sandals must not be worn.
  • Jewellery – wrist watches and plain gold or silver stud earrings are the only jewellery permitted in school.
