Pupil Premium
The Government introduced the Pupil Premium Grant in April 2011. The funding is allocated to help schools deliver support to ensure eligible pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially. Pupil Premium Funding is delegated to schools based on the following:
- Service Child Premium
- Adopted from Care Premium
- Looked After Premium
- Children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)
- Children who have been eligible for Free School Meals in any of the previous six years (F6FSM)
Applying for free school meals
If you think you may be entitled to free school meals please click the link below which will direct you to the Herefordshire Council checker and application site for free school meals.
If your child does not have Free School Meals, but may be eligible because of your family’s income level, please contact the school office (in confidence) to register them.
Even if you do not wish your child to have the meals, this would mean the school could still claim Pupil Premium funding that may be used to help your child.
