We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our happy and supportive team and provide 1:1 support for a pupil in a mixed Year 3 / 4 class.

The successful candidates will ideally have:

  • Good knowledge of the needs of SEN children and how to support them.
  • Proven abilities in working in partnership with teachers and parents.
  • Relevant training in SEN needs, in particular Speech and language barriers.
  • The ability to demonstrate supporting colleagues in their roles.

Our governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning and Social Support Assistant to support our pupils. We are looking for an individual with the flexibility and skills to support our pupils particularly within Key Stage 2 and at lunch times as necessary. Broadlands Primary School has moved onto a lovely new site, with excellent facilities for pupils.

We would like to hear from you if you have/are::
  • previous experience of working with children of primary school age;
  • experience of supporting children in KS2, possibly delivering interventions
  • a full and relevant level 3 qualification;
  • enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • a sense of humour and the ability to inject fun into learning;
  • high expectations of pupil behaviour and excellent behaviour management skills;
  • flexible, accommodating and a team player; and
  • You have relevant qualifications for the role.

School Children’s Superintendent

Term time only, Mondays to Fridays, 5 hours per week.

Permanent Position.

HC 2 – points 7 to 10. £8.55 to £8.74 per hour

Hours: 12:20pm – 1:20pm.

Required immediately

We have one vacancy for Children’s Superintendent in our school. The role includes working as part of a team to ensure the welfare and safety of all children during lunch times.

Duties include:

  • supervising children whilst eating their lunch and during lunch time playtime;
  • setting up and clearing away;
  • serving lunch.
