One Year Fixed Term Post

Our governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning and Social Support Assistant to support our pupils. We are looking for an individual with the flexibility and skills to support our pupils particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage but also within Key Stages 1 and 2 and at lunch times as necessary. Broadlands Primary School has moved onto a lovely new site, with excellent facilities for pupils.

We would like to hear from you if:
  • You have previous experience of working with children of primary school age, particularly early years;
  • A full level 3 qualification relevant for the early years workforce;
  • You have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • You have a sense of humour and the ability to inject fun into learning;
  • You have high expectations of pupil behaviour and excellent behaviour management skills;
  • You are flexible, accommodating and a team player; and
  • You have relevant qualifications for the role.

Children’s Superintendent

Term time only, Mondays to Fridays, 5 hours per week.

Permanent Position.

HC 2 – points 7 to 10. £8.55 to £8.74 per hour

Hours: 12:20pm – 1:20pm.

We have one vacancy for Children’s Superintendent in our school. The role includes working as part of a team to ensure the welfare and safety of all children during lunch times.

Duties include:

  • supervising children whilst eating their lunch and during lunch time playtime;
  • setting up and clearing away;
  • serving lunch.

Receptionist to include Administrative Support

Required for 1st September 2018

Term time only, Mondays to Fridays

15 Hours per week. 12:45 to 15:45

HC 4 – points 13 to 16. £17,391 to £18,319 pa pro rata – actual salary £5,872 to £6,185

We are looking for a School Receptionist who will also provide Administrative Support. We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has a calm and professional approach, and who can engage effectively with children, their parents, school staff and other stakeholders;
  • Is organised, self-motivated and can offer support with minimal supervision;
  • Has excellent IT Skills, especially Microsoft office;
  • Is flexible, can manage time effectively, and is able to multi-task; and can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people.
